Jeff and Pam Stone's Story IMG_8707 dark grey bgSearching for the right in-home care provider is an extremely emotional process. There is a wide range of considerations, including cost, quality of care, communication, trust, and caregiver compatibility. We understand firsthand the challenges involved with this important decision. As part of the "sandwich generation" (individuals taking care of both their children and parents), our own experience brought about a heightened awareness that motivated us to open BrightStar Care of Tulsa. We're happy to say that we were able to honor Jeff's mother's wish to remain in her home of over 35 years after a diagnosis of a serious illness. While she was very independent, her needs changed over time. She ultimately needed additional care, but received that care in the comfort and privacy of her own home. We are truly grateful that we were able to honor her wishes. Our vision, mission and values for BrightStar Care of Tulsa is dedicated to this wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend to many. It is an honor to be able to make a difference and to be of service to our community. We look forward to serving you and your family. Please call us, and we'll be there — Any Time, Any Place.

Meet Our Team

Cande Rials, RN - Clinical Supervisor Jan
From an early age, I had wanted to be a nurse, but it was until after my family was raised and after the death of a spouse that I was able to do what I felt was God's plan for my life. I love people, young & old! In my career, I have been a pediatric nurse, a geriatric nurse, a home health nurse, a nursing Director and a hospice nurse. As a hospice nurse, I've been honored to hold the hand of a dear patient as they stepped from this life into their final home. I've worked with the very rich to the very poor, and through every case, my goal has always been to make a difference in each life. Now, as Director of Nursing with BrightStar, it's my privilege to continue striving, to make a difference in the greater Tulsa community, as well as be an encouragement and mentor to the outstanding staff working at BrightStar Tulsa. I am most passionate about being an advocate for both caregivers and nurses. By providing quality education and learning opportunities for caregivers, we can provide the best quality care to our clients.

Crystal Sanchez - Office Admin Judy
I chose nursing as my “empty nest” career after working in corporate America and volunteering in a variety of community activities while raising my family.  Wellness and fitness were my passions, so it seemed a natural transition to become a nurse.  I graduated from nursing school the year my daughter graduated from high school.  I have enjoyed the last 20 years working as a registered nurse. My experiences as a skilled nurse, case manager and patient care coordinator in the hospital, home health and hospice, has given me the knowledge, compassion and genuine concern for people and their well-being.  My own life experiences caring for my parents enhanced my empathy and concern for family caregivers. Wellness and fitness remain my passions, along with assisting individuals with quality of life and maintaining dignity and independence.  Assessing the need and  being able to provide a high level of home services, plus providing respite and peace of mind for family, gives me a great deal of satisfaction.

Dave Block - Manager of Business Development DaveLeft
I have loved helping people all my life. In previous positions, I have been referred to as "full-service Dave", because I go the extra mile to help those who need it. The best part of my job is that I get to develop relationships with healthcare professionals who work directly with the people that will need additional care once they get back home - where ever "home" might be. Getting those people the help they need so they can age in place is very important to them, and to me as well.

I really enjoy going into facilities and making their days just a little brighter with a kind word, a warm smile, and solutions to their most immediate healthcare needs. I enjoy working in the yard, baking, spending time with my family and friends, and working with the wonderful staff that we have at BrightStar Care of Tulsa.

Jennifer Ewing - Client Care Manager
Helping people is a passion of mine, I enjoy being able to do it each day. I have been in healthcare for 16 years, administratively and Home Health by far has been the most fulfilling entity of my career. I am honored to serve our community by helping people live their lives to the fullest and improve their quality of life.  At BrightStar Care of Tulsa we are happy to serve not only our clients but their families to give them peace of mind. As the Client Care Manager, I enjoy talking with clients regarding their schedule, and get to know them better so I can best match them up with the perfect Care Giver for them.  We are here to celebrate their successes and help carry them through their challenges.  I love to hear it when our clients say, "I am so pleased with my care giver!"

Stephanie Payne - National Account Specialist/Client Care Manager Kirstien
I joined BrightStar Tulsa in March of 2017 as a Certified Home Health Aide. I have since then transitioned into the role of National Account Specialist and Client Care Manager.  I am most happy when spending time with my family, two wonderful sons and out little Miniature Schnauzer, Bella.. I am truly humbled at the opportunity I have been given to partner with our referral sources, office team, and field staff to make a difference in the lives of each of our clients. It's an honor to be a part of such a wonderful company.

Stella Nyingi - Finance Manager
I have been with BrightStar Care of Tulsa since 2014. I’m responsible for the day to day management of the finance operations of our BrightStar office. I work hand-in-hand with our Customer Care Managers to manage employee payroll, invoicing activities, and provide professional A/R and A/P management. I received my Bachelors of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Accounting from Northeastern State University in 2013. I am a wife and mother to 2 of the most adorable children. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at my church and at my daughter’s school and watching my son play soccer and baseball.
