Meet Our W. Lake County, IN Nursing Director

Providing RN oversight on every case from day one

Angela Moore, RN, BSN

Angela MooreHow long have you been a Nurse? I have been a nurse for over 18 years. What experience do you bring to BrightStar Care®? I started my nursing career in college working at a hospital as a CNA, which helped build a strong foundation. After obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree and becoming an RN, I worked one year in a medical-surgical unit, then moved to a new hospital to work in Critical Care for over 15 years, becoming a charge nurse after 5 years. After 15 years in the hospital, I switched to homecare, working for a Medicare Agency and then moving on to BrightStar. What aspect of your job are you most passionate about? Providing the best care for each and every one of my clients. It is not easy for a client or a family member to ask for help, clients should feel comfortable with the staff who enters their home and should get the highest quality of care available. I want all clients to trust that they will receive the best service possible. I provide A Higher Standard of Care for our BrightStar Care® clients by... having the Critical Care background experiences and skill sets. My experience provides me the ability to assess situations and determine when clients may need further evaluation. It gave me the knowledge and the ability to educate our staff. I also feel that my experiences give me the ability to assist the clients and their families to create a plan of care that will provide the most benefit to them._INS_Logo_200wide If you have questions about how RN oversight works at BrightStar of IN - West Lake County, or if want to speak with our Director of Nursing, please call us at (219) 924-0200.
