Our Staff at BrightStar Care® Wilmington and Brunswick County

BrightStar Care of Wilmington and Brunswick County is owned by NC natives, Ed and Gina Collins. Gina is a physician assistant with a background in cardiothoracic surgery and geriatrics. She earned both her BS and PA degrees from Wake Forest University.  Ed enjoyed a long career in corporate finance and project management with companies ranging from Fortune 100 to start-up. He earned his BA from UNC Charlotte and an MBA from Wake Forest University. With a passion to serve, we’d be happy to discuss your individual needs and tailor the right solution.

Sabrina is a born and raised Long Island, NY native. She relocated to NC in 2020 with her husband and 3 dogs (Lily, Emma and Daisy).  Sabrina holds a Bachelor's in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master's in Human Resource Management. Sabrina has had a passion for serving people since she was young. She started in the healthcare industry at 18 years old. Sabrina has a love for serving those in need and helping employees navigate the business world. She enjoys seeing and helping employees succeed in their careers. She has over 16 years of experience in the industry and loves to assist others as they go through life's changes. 

Gigi is a born and raised long island NY native. She relocated to North Carolina in February 2023 with her husband and two dogs, Schnitzel and Princess to be closer to her two adult children and her grandchildren. Gigi has been in the healthcare field for 21 years. She loves to help and serve her community. Gigi is a People person, and she loves to help them succeed.
