Alyssa Linares-Spinks is my caregiver and she does a great job at taking care of me. I had different caregivers before getting her and I am glad she got matched with me. I contacted BrightStar due to a last-second situation where I needed a drive and overnight stay after a surgery happening on the same day. Not only was the operator (Alex) an amazing help in getting that organized fast and with such sort notice, but my caregiver Darla was just awesome. So easygoing and kind and considerate the entire time I was with her. I thought I was going to have a real fiasco of a night, and thanks to these people I was able to go forward with surgery and had a wonderful night. Thank you both!

I live in Connecticut and come to Portland several times a year and stay for two months to be with my young grandchildren. My nurse Nathan makes space in his schedule for my weekly infusions. I consider him a friend. He is brilliant at gaining access! Over my 12 years of infusing, many nurses have difficulty with my veins. Nathan is a joy to spend time with. He is playful with my grandchildren. My 4 to 6 hour infusions pass by quickly and over the last three years all have gone smoothly without incident. He does my bloodwork once a month which gets picked up by Federal Express. We keep in touch by text so I can let him know when I will be in Portland. Anyone to have Nathan as your nurse would be most fortunate!

Our family found ourselves in a last minute bind and needed night care for my father with Alzheimers last minute. BrightStar staff came through for us in a big way. Nancy our caregiver was amazing and my father really connected with her. It was so nice to have peace of mind knowing my dad was well cared for.
