Our Director of Nursing, Melanie Hopkinson creates a customized plan of care (POC) based upon the client’s medical history and medications.  The POC serves as a guideline for the staff to follow when caring for the client.  Knowing how medications can interfere with one another or recognizing signs and symptoms of a relapse are critical components of healthcare. Nursing oversight serves as a continuum of care alongside the client’s team of physicians.

BrightStar Care of Chattanooga is also the ONLY homecare agency in the area that has applied for Joint Commission Accreditation.
