Doug Webb was born and raised right here in Lafayette.  A West Lafayette  graduate, he attended Purdue University, where he obtained his MBA.  Doug met and fell in love with his lovely wife Carla, and together they have a beautiful baby girl.

Doug became a part of BrightStar because “I wanted to be a part of a company that had compassion not just as a tag line but really believed in what they said.”  Doug wanted to give back to his community in a setting where people need care for their loved ones and for themselves.  Another aspect that drew Doug to BrightStar is, “BrightStar is about being the ‘Choice’ employer.”  Doug believes that in order to provide the best care you must have the best staff.

There are constant changes in both the medical field and in home care, and there are many families out there looking for something different…something better.  Not only do we provide care for the aging community but here in Lafayette there is a growing need for pediatric care as well.  Doug is a firm believer in continuing education, and  the Lafayette office is constantly providing advanced training for its caregivers.

“The one that sticks out in my mind was the pediatric  infusion training.  Seeing all the new materials out there was truly exciting, and I’m glad to be able to provide this training to the staff so they won’t be overwhelmed with the ongoing changes in medicine.”
