I have worked in long term care facilities; in the memory units, the rehabilitation units, and the long-term care units. I have a WCC wound care certification.
What Aspect Of Your Job Are You Most Passionate About?
My number one goal is to keep clients in their homes as long as possible. That means keeping the client as independent as their condition will allow, and advocation for them when their needs change. I am also passionate about supporting clients through hospice if needed as it is often a stressful and emotional time. I like being able to help to coordinate care and support the hospice company and the family to make the transition as smooth as possible.

I value each client as an individual. I provide personalized care plans that not only meet but exceed the clients needs and goals. I listen to the clients and caregivers when the client’s needs change, and I take the time to understand what is important to the client. I oversee all of our care staff and make sure they are competent and able to offer a higher standard of care.
