How long have you been a Nurse?
I have been a Registered Nurse since 2020!
What experience do you bring to BrightStar Care®?
I began my health care career with in-home care in 2016, following several years working in an in-home care agency office as a supplementary office assistant. As a nurse, I have worked both in and out of the hospital setting, including women’s outpatient surgery, ambulatory & inpatient surgery, corrections, and labor & delivery. In addition to nursing, I have a degree in business administration, leadership, and management, which has allowed me to wear many hats in my prior positions, such as quality improvement, OSHA, infection prevention, and safety assurance, in addition to my patient-facing responsibilities.
What part of your job are you most passionate about?
Meeting people where they are! We often meet clients during difficult transitions or situations in their lives and truly showing them, we are on their team can make a world of difference to their outlook and comfort.
