Tracy was drawn to the home care industry by seeing a need in people close to him and how hard it was to find quality care. He found by having loved ones in a situation needing home care services, how important it is to be able to trust and depend on a company with great credentials and a broad spectrum of care. He realized BrightStar Care fit that mold and was drawn to the franchise and their high standards. Prior to becoming the owner of BrightStar Care of East Lake County and West Lake County, Tracy worked for 17 years as a manager at a prominent car dealership in Merrillville, Indiana. The gratification of helping people while providing excellent customer service has been the most rewarding work experience that Tracy has encountered in his career. It is his pleasure to serve Lake County, Indiana residents and families as he would want his own family to be treated.  

Brooke has been with BrightStar since 2011 and brings a background of client care, customer service and leadership to her position. Brooke understands firsthand the personal care needs of our clients and their families. Brooke's prior experience as a Unit Manager at a Skilled Nursing Facility and as a Pharmacy Technician also allows her to bring an overall health care perspective to the great care and service we are constantly striving to deliver. Brooke is a valued member of the BrightStar leadership team working directly with the staff, clients and vendors to deliver excellent care and excellent service for our clients. Our clients and caregivers alike appreciate Brooke's friendly and professional approach to her work. 

Kelly started her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant while in nursing school for her RN. She received her RN in 2013, and has 10 years of hospital experience in the Intermediate Care Unit. Kelly has also served as a Clinical Nurse Leader for 3 years at a local hospital. Most recently, she obtained her MSN in Nursing Education in 2018.

Rebekah has worked with BrightStar Care of Lake County IN for over five years and accepted the role of Alternate Director of Nursing in the summer of 2023.  Rebekah earned her BSN from University of Texas El Paso after earning her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University. In between earning bachelor’s degrees, Rebekah served in the United States Army with two tours in Kuwait during Operation Iraqi/Enduring Freedom. With over 16 years as a registered nurse and multiple nominations for BrightStar’s Best and Brightest, Rebekah brings an invaluable amount of experience, confidence, and compassion to our team.

Jessica is a Sales and Marketing Community Liaison at BrightStar Care of Lake County as has been working in social services for over the past 15 years. During her time in social services, she has always had a heart for the aged and disabled. Jessica used to be a care manager where she provided in home services for the aged and disabled to help them remain living independently in their homes. Later in her career, she became a supervisor for the care managers and provided them with guidance with their clients. While working in the community, she's learned the importance of receiving the quality of care. Jessica says "I am very excited to be a part of BrightStar Care who provides quality of care to their clients in their homes. A little more about me. I love spending time with my husband and family. Whether we are eating dinner together or playing competitive video/board games, I enjoy our time together."

Mariah is the Recruiter/HR Manager at BrightStar Care of Lake County. Mariah earned her BBA while focusing on Human Resource Management from Eastern Michigan University in 2022. Mariah has worked in the healthcare field on top of working for the Human Resource Department in retail. Mariah is apart of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated where she loves to serve in her community and help others. She loved working in healthcare and wanted to put her skills and knowledge to use with BrightStar Care to give the best care to our clients and caregivers.
