What do our clients talk about us?
"After so many glowing, positive comments from David about his new caregivers over these past months; I asked him last week to do a comparison of the old/new services. He thought for a moment and then said, "Mom, it is the difference between hell and heaven. They are so very nice to me". I have fought for 47 years for David. All I ever wanted for him was to be treated like the Human Being that he is. My daughter, five other sons and their wives thank you all so very much for treating David like the human being he is. We have you collectively in our prayers"....read the entire letter!

Outstanding Employees -- Feb 2014
|Every month BrightStar Care of Greater Pittsburgh recognizes two field employees with “Outstanding Employee Award” for integrity, compassion, quality of care and most importantly – for making a difference in their clients’ lives!
Our Feb, 2014 Winners are:Ann Bulow and Stephen McFarlane -- two of our most outstanding caregivers!
Why Ann was chosen for this award?
Ann was chosen as February’s CG of the Month because of her consistency and willingness to help. Ann is always on time for her shifts, and clocks in and out of the Santrax system without fail. During the holidays, when other agency’s Caregivers called off, Ann gladly picked up those extra shifts, to ensure that her client did not go without care. In addition, when a caregiver calls off for a mutual client, Ann is always willing to cover the shift, so that her client does not go without, or have to see an unfamiliar face. Her dedication to her clients and to BrightStar is unprecedented, and we are so fortunate to have her on our team. She consistently goes above and beyond, and truly cares about her clients’ quality of life, which she improves every time she is at her clients’ homes.
Why Stephen was awarded this honor?
Steve is a man with a big heart. He is personifies what is best in BrightStar! His punctuality, his attention to detail and passion to complete everything with utmost care, makes him a very special person. He takes care of everyone as one of his own. After Steve joined our company, a number of his previous clients also followed him to BrightStar. This shows Steve is just not an excellent caregiver but a person of great human values who build long-term relationship with everyone around him.
Please join me congratulating Ann and Stephen!
The winners receive gift cards for $50 each and they are profiled on our websites.
