BrightStar Care® Family of Care

Launched more than two decades ago, BrightStar Care began as a high-quality in-home care provider. Since then, the company has grown from a few Chicago-area locations to an organization with over 366 locations across 39 states. And we haven’t stopped growing yet.
In addition to increasing the number of BrightStar® Home Care agencies where we offer in-home medical* and non-medical care, we’ve expanded the type of care settings we offer to include assisted living and memory care communities with our BrightStar® Senior Living and BrightStar Care Homes™ brands. All of our in-home and residential options include nurse-led care with an initial assessment and plan of care created by a Registered Nurse (RN). This local nurse works closely with other caregivers to provide ongoing oversight to ensure optimal health for each client we serve.

We’ve also brought our expertise to meet the placement demands of today’s growing medical workforce with BrightStar® Medical Staffing, allowing us to expand our support of quality healthcare throughout the country. Learn more about our brands below.

BrightStar® Home Care

Our franchised and company-owned BrightStar Home Care agencies meet the needs of those who want to age in place, are recovering from a short-term medical need or have chronic conditions that limit their ability to experience the quality of life they desire. While some agencies only care for seniors, our in-home caregiving and skilled nursing services are available for infants and children, as well as adults of all ages. BrightStar® Senior Living

Although some individuals want to remain in their home, others are ready to settle into an environment where they no longer need to maintain their property or handle daily chores. If your loved one needs a small to moderate amount of assistance or has Alzheimer’s or dementia, they may find our BrightStar Senior Living Communities (with Assisted Living and Memory Care) to be a good fit for their needs. BrightStar Care Homes™

Newer to the BrightStar Care family, our BrightStar Care Homes are a cozy approach to care located in a neighborhood-like setting. These actual houses have been built or remodeled specifically for just 8 to 12 residents, providing an attractive staff-to-resident ratio of 1:6 or better. With made-to-order breakfasts, daily meals tailored to residents’ palates and the option to bring special furnishings, residents feel right at home with their caregivers and new friends. BrightStar® Medical Staffing

Delivering superior medical and non-medical healthcare is contingent upon hiring and retaining high-quality staff members for both short-term and long-term roles. BrightStar Medical Staffing delivers staffing solutions that augment a company’s recruiting efforts.
