“HelpLink serves as a key component of the Office on Aging, Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) service delivery system and the entry point for consumers needing information and referral to public and community based service programs. The best way for seniors, persons with disabilities and family caregivers to become familiar with the wide choice of support services available in Riverside County is to call the Office on Aging, 1-800-510-2020 and speak with an Information and Assistance Specialist. These specialists know about programs, eligibility, current availability and procedures to obtain needed services and supports. Information and Assistance Specialists will direct individuals to the appropriate service and follow-up to ensure that they have received the help they need. Referrals can also be made to other agencies on the consumer’s behalf when the information provided by the consumer indicates another agency’s program can help. Everyone is eligible to receive this guidance free of charge and without obligation. Bi-lingual specialists are available for both English and Spanish speaking callers.
