My name is Blaise Borr and I am a disabled resident of Oakland CA. I have been a client of Brightstar Care in Lafayette since 2016. I first became aware of them when my mother was diagnosed with dementia in 2015.

I use their companion caregiving service and they are a godsend. The care givers they send are top notch. They have. offices in at least 37 states, so if you like to, travel, Brightstar Care has your back. Most recently, I returned from a trip to Chicago to visit family. They provided me with roundtrip rides to and from SFO. Caregivers like. Ray and Demitrio Munoz have provided transportation to and from medical appointments, and Costco for monthly shopping trips. They have also provided transportation for me to participate in family gatherings and. holiday events Moreover, the caregivers at Brightstar are great listeners because they patiently listen as to how to best help me get in and out of their cars., and help me accordingly. Stacy Mack always seems to find great care givers. Stacey and the other care giving coordinators at Brightstar Care are dedicated to serving t6he needs of their clients. The night before I was to fly back to SF, she called me to let me know that the original caregiver she scheduled to get me back home had backed out due to an emergency. Stacey called to let me know and give me the new care giver’s information. Sam Casselle waited patiently for me at the airport and drove me home. He is another great care giver. The other issue that I’m really impressed with is that she always finds care givers to help me run errands on my schedule. If you need help running errands in your daily life or need someone to look after your loved ones, I highly recommend BSC. BRIGHTSTAR CARE HAS YOUR BACK!

BrightStar brought Nurse Jordan Mendoza into our lives in July 2024, and we will forever be grateful! He is the BEST pediatric nurse we have ever had, and has helped our daughter overcome her medical trauma. Jordan has become a part of our family, and has made the treatment process so easy to navigate. More importantly, he’s there for us all. He goes above and beyond during every visit - we truly don’t know what we would do without him! Thank you BrightStar!

After being the main caregiver for my elderly mom with Alzheimer’s for years, I finally decided on BrightStar after reviewing multiple agencies. I have been extremely impressed with everyone I’ve met/spoken to at BrightStar—they have all been warm and kind, who seem to be in the caregiving business because they are truly compassionate people.
We were matched with Erica who was a bit younger than I expected but I could see why they paired my mom up with her. She has a very peaceful and sincere demeanor that matches my mom’s. In the beginning, I gave her tips to help care for my mom and she remembers them all. She is conscientious and trustworthy. And my mom genuinely seems so happy to see Erica. With her Alzheimer’s, she can’t remember much, but she still has an overall feeling of how a person makes her feel. Every time Erica comes, my mom gives a huge smile! And to see that makes me so happy and secure in knowing my mom is in good hands who not only keep her safe but makes her feel good!
Thank you to Erica and Brightstar for helping my mom transition to this new stage with kindness, dignity and fun!

BrightStar started caring for my wife, who has Alzheimer’s, about 1 year ago. The office staff is very professional, organized, super responsive — and nice! I love that their caregiving staff members are treated like real employees, with benefits, training etc. My guess is this helps with employee retention, which ultimately benefits the client / patient. And they really worked with us until we landed on a great “fit” with one of their caregivers: Demetriess! I was really concerned about having a caregiver in our home everyday, worrying it would feel like a stranger imposing on our space. But Demetriess has really become one of the family. She is a joy to be around and takes great care of my wife. You can tell she is a pro at her job and really knows how to work with an Alzheimer’s patient. What more can I ask?

We appreciated the help to care for our parents. BrightStar caregivers (especially Lindsay, Carol and Reanna) were amazing. Not only did they provide care but they also provided companionship and eased our stress when we couldn’t be there.
I have been quite pleased with the service BrightStar has given my brother Earl. They have been professional and caring. I particularly have been impressed by Gabriela for her professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile to be sure things are right. I also wish to recognize Sehrish who was always offering kind, caring and compassionate help for Earl. They have made his life better with all that they do!

I have been a client of Brightstar for the last few years.
Along with a few serious chronic illnesses that take a signicant toll on my quality of life, Ive also been a full time wheelchair user from since very ealy childhood. Illnesses, surgeries and hospitalizations have always been a major part of my life. As a result, so have caregivers and the companies they work for.
Brightstar provides me with better care/caregivers than any other company where I have ever been a client. I have not had a single bad experience. Any issues that have arisen ( exactly 2!) were handled very quickly and the solutions exceeded my expectations.
Caregivers are always compassionate, respectful, knowledgable and trustworthy. The feeling that I can trust them is of particular importance to me as I am very dependant on the care I need.
A special shout-out to Savita.
On her most recent shift with me, I was having a very bad day, both physically and emotionally.
Savita went well above and beyond, to do whatever she could to make the day as smoothly and easy on me as possible. She was supportive, patient and so very kind.

Bright Star Care - 6 Stars if possible.
As a returning client Bright Star did an incredible job helping our family with additional care during the Hospice Care process. We had both RN and Caregiver resources and we were so incredibly impressed and appreciative of the entire team. Caregivers; Augustina, Horinda, Karina and Nurses; Jennifer and Maxine. The office team made heroic efforts to coordinate our wonderful staffing plan. Sheri, Tanya and many more made the entire process smooth and seamless for us. Thank you so much Bright Star!!!
