This is my honest review through my lived experience. Knowing that I want to share some people provide a service, and then there are people who genuinely care. With Bright Star, Coral Gables, I have learned that character is not revealed by what a person says. It is revealed by what they choose to do when there is no obligation to do anything at all. The team at BrightStar chose generosity. They chose community, wait a minute, a Veteran community. One of the most forgotten communities and Seniors. They chose to support something larger than themselves without expectation. In a world that often asks, "What do I get in return?" they simply asked, "How can we help?” As a veteran and the widow of a retired veteran, that kind of service speaks deeply to me. As the founder of Divine Paws Foundation and an organization dedicated to serving both veterans and seniors, it reminds me of the very standard we are striving to bring back, and honestly, low-key what an honor it has been to become one of your patients and to experience firsthand that genuine compassion, character, and humanity still exist. That speaks volumes about the character of the people behind Bright Star, Coral Gables. I have learned that every organization eventually reveals its character. Not through advertising. Not through words. But through the people who represent it. How many times do you call some place and all you speak to is AI prompts? Oh no, this is real, genuine human interactions have quietly become rare and conditioned. "What do you need?" "Where are the gaps, and how can we be part of the solution?" Let me emphasize SOLUTION. That question alone reveals character. They took the time to drive through Miami traffic, sit down face to face, heart to heart, and simply listen. They didn't have to. There was no obligation. Yet they showed up because they genuinely cared. That kind of humanity cannot be manufactured. It cannot be trained. It cannot be placed in a policy manual. It is felt. And when someone leads with that kind of heart, you don't simply remember what they did. You remember how they made you feel. Thank you for reminding me that there are still people and organizations who choose to be a part of the SOLUTION. That is humanity. Thank you for reminding us what a genuine human connection still looks like. Never lose what makes you different. You are helping bring the standard back and reminding the rest of us just how high the bar should be. Thank you for believing in people, in community, and in making a difference, but most importantly, thank you for caring about the two most forgotten categories of persons, and that is Seniors and Veterans; Veterans and Seniors. That kind of integrity is never overlooked. It is felt, and guess what I feel it.

BrightStar went above and beyond to take care of my father in law. They were kind, caring and went above and beyond to listen to our concerns. Their staff was professional, showed up on time and handled many different personalities. They also moved very quickly to get everything set up.

My experience with this agency has been wonderful, as it has the most efficient and professional manager of all, Belquis, and her team. I highly recommend them to patients and their families for quality care.
