Peter Ngin is the CEO & Owner of the newly opened BrightStar Care of CA - Anaheim / Yorba Linda as of June 2024. Bringing more than 23 years of experience in marketing, sales, operations, and management for various healthcare and high-technology organizations.  A dynamic leader who is results-oriented with proven history of managing strategic initiatives across complex matrix organization through integrity and collaborative relationships while delivering value to customers.  Direct responsibilities encompassing strategy, planning, budget management, team building and management, program and project management, product / campaign go-to-market management, and vendor management.

After leaving Cambodia when he was a young child, Peter overcame many challenges and faced adversity before earning an MBA and entering the corporate world. Before beginning his entrepreneurial journey with BrightStar Care, Peter worked for UnitedHealth Group, focusing on the Medicare sector and specializing in Sales & Marketing and Digital operations.

Peter has always been passionate about building businesses and bringing quality healthcare to individuals. He has acted as a caregiver for his mother and younger sister over the years and understands the level of care and compassion individuals and their families need to age safely in place. Putting care above all, Peter was drawn to BrightStar Care’s higher standard of care, registered nurse oversight for all clients, and the brand’s franchise support model. Peter is looking forward to providing the greater Anaheim and Yorba Linda communities with a higher standard of home care.

Dr. Sharon is a distinguished nurse administrator, Geriatric and Home health expert with over 15 years of leadership experience across diverse healthcare settings. She has served in pivotal roles at institutions including Nyaho Medical Centre, Ashesi University, Acacia Medical Center,  Aspire Business School, Providence Healthcare, Robert Half, Ensign Services, and Pipeline Health Systems.

As Director of Nursing at Brightstar Care of Anaheim and Yorba Linda, Dr. Sharon drives excellence in patient care through innovative leadership, multidisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based practices. Her leadership fosters a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous improvement.

Dr Sharon is a Certified Director of Nursing Services (DNS-CT) – American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN) and a member of the Institute of Post-Acute Care (InsPAC, USA),

Research Contributions : 
Dr. Sharon’s research examined the dynamics of healthcare leadership styles, emotional and psychological determinants of nursing job turnover, dissatisfaction, and stress. Her current research focus is on strategies for quality care optimisation through multidisciplinary engagement and synergistic collaboration in healthcare settings. By integrating innovative care models and collaborative frameworks, her work aims to Improve patient outcomes, enhance staff well-being and satisfaction, while fostering a sustainable culture of excellence in healthcare organizations.

Her workplace mantra is “Team intelligence is a curator of natural habitat where human capital thrives”.

With over 10 years of experience in business development, Louis holds a degree in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton, where he was actively involved as a student leader in both the business college and a fraternity. He began his career in the financial industry, working for companies such as Automatic Data Processing, Capital One, and Edward Jones. During this time, he discovered his passion for providing care, which led him to help launch a startup pharmacy in Orange County.

Louis subsequently joined United Healthcare, where he presented pharmacy services across California. Now, as the Business Development Manager at Brightstar Care, he is excited to leverage his expertise and enthusiasm to grow the business in Anaheim, Fullerton, Brea, Placentia, and Yorba Linda. In this role, he focuses on networking and presenting “higher standard” solutions to potential clients, empowering them to live their best lives.

Outside of work, Louis enjoys caring for his two rescue dogs and watching sports. With a strong passion for fitness and nutrition, he also likes to exercise and learn new meal-prepping techniques in his free time.
