Brightstar began working with my family in 2021, when my father began declining; we continue to work with them as my mother ages-in-place.
From the get-go we found the management staff warm and relatable. They work very, very hard to make sure all their clients are covered, in an industry where human normalcy means sometimes an aide has to call out sick, or has a sick kid. And sometimes the client is one who requires a very specific "fit" and those specifications are duly noted and accommodated.
We would specifically like to recognize Renee (Latricia), Christine, Tatiyana, Shanika, Moyo, Aisa & Aminata. These ladies rock! (as do Mary Jane, Seagull, Kenisha and Shannon)
Bright Star came through for our Family on very short notice, matched us up with skilled, friendly, respectful, professional Care givers. One of my favorite’s was Aminata, who was with me on the morning my mom passed away. I will always remember her kindness. I would recommend Bright Star to my friends and family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in my Mom’s final days.

Brightstar Care has been providing home healthcare to my son for a few weeks now. I have received nothing but great service by their team of professionals from the staff that answers the phone, to Christina who handles care coordination for the patients and their nurse Angela who physically comes out to provide direct hands on care to my son. I’m truly grateful this Homecare Agency was chosen to assist my son throughout his healing process. Christina and Ms Angela I can’t thank enough for always being available to take my calls, get my questions answered or my son supplies taken care of. Mary Jane went above and beyond to schedule staff to meet my needs. For the most part, the caregivers were excellent, kind, caring, gentle. Any concerns I had were addressed promptly to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Brightstar home health aide services.
I wanted to share the experience I had with BrightStar. The nurse who was assigned to me was Andrie. I cannot thank Andrie enough for the amazing care that she provided over the course of my recovery. She is a true professional. She knew exactly what to do at every turn and there were plenty of twists and turns during my treatment. I felt so confident in the care that Andrie provided. She was always prompt, accommodated my schedule and helped me recover quickly...always with a smile and reassuring manner. BrightStar is extremely lucky to have such a true pro on their staff. We have used Brightstar Care off and on for a couple of years. This most recent and current use of this agency has been the most wonderful experience due to the angel they've provided us in Aisa. Aisa has cared for my parents as my mom had begun hospice and my father living with pretty severe dementia. The unbelievable care, love and kindness Aisa provided my mom is so very much appreciated. The challenges Aisa has faced during this time were quite daunting, but she has always more than managed the situation and has accomplished amazing things.
Mom has now passed and Aisa continues to care for dad. The two of them have quite a remarkable relationship and my family is in awe of her and blessed to have her to care for dad.
BrightStar has been responsive and communicative. We have ask for pretty extensive care in terms of hours per day, 7 days a week. When they've been unable to provide this, they've connected us with another agency.
