BrightStar Care was founded in 2002 by Shelly Sun, inspired by a deeply personal experience. When Shelly struggled to find compassionate, high quality home care for her own parents, she knew families deserved better. What began as a daughter’s determination to honor her parents’ dignity grew into a national commitment to delivering exceptional, professional, and truly heartfelt care.

In 2026, Temi and Temi opened BrightStar Care of Carleton & Canton with a shared passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals living with medical disabilities.
