Try a New Skill!

Learning a new skill is great for our brains! It allows our brains to make new connections to the skills we already know and helps us learn things faster over time! People who learn new skills are also less likely to develop dementia because it increases the density of our myelin (the white matter in our brains).

Want to try to improve your cooking skills (or lack there of)? Stir Cooking School is a great place with group cooking classes that are open to the public!

UpStairs Circus has awesome DIYs for you and your friends to try. This eccentric bar/workshop has two locations in Denver, one in Lodo and the other in DTC area! Not too creative? No worries! Go to Bed Early!

A good night’s sleep is essential for us to function! Not only will you feel refreshed to take on the day, it also helps our brains process all the new information from the day. Poor sleep leads us having a difficult time retaining information, make our emotions unruly, and leaves us feeling sluggish. Try shutting off your phone/TV and heading to bed 15 minutes earlier to your routine and see how your health improves!
