Sunita Sharma
Owner and President of BrightStar CareI am Sunita Sharma, the owner and President of BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington, and Woburn, MA. I bring extensive leadership experience, administrative excellence, and a lifelong commitment to service. Prior to entering the field of home healthcare, I served as the Chief Secretary to the Vice Chancellor of Guru Angad Dev University in Punjab, India, where I played a pivotal role in leading high-level strategic, administrative, policy, and institutional initiatives.
Throughout my distinguished career in public service, I developed a strategic mindset, empathetic servant leadership, and a dedication to fostering environments of excellence and integrity. These qualities now form the foundation of my work with BrightStar Care, where our mission is to deliver compassionate, reliable, and high-quality care to seniors and families in the community.
At BrightStar Care, we believe in going beyond care—we are committed to being a trusted partner to those in need. Our team actively engages in community service and outreach, striving to support individuals and families during life’s most challenging moments. Whether it's providing timely care to a loved one after a hospital discharge or simply being there when someone needs a helping hand, we pride ourselves on showing up with empathy, respect, and professionalism.
Driven by a profound respect for elders and a desire to make a meaningful impact, I view the launch of BrightStar Care as both a calling and an opportunity—to give back to society, uplift those in need, and serve our community with compassion and purpose.

Lakshmi Prema Vadali
Co-Owner and Administrative Head of BusinessI’m Prema (means love), proud co-owner and Administrative Head of Business of BrightStar Care of Waltham, MA. I’m infusing rich blend of clinical research operations leadership and heartfelt community service to the world of home healthcare. With over 12 years of experience as a Clinical Trials Program Leader at leading healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations such as Sanofi, Kadmon, Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD), and Pfizer. I have built a strong foundation in patient-focused medications, project management, regulatory excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
Throughout my career, I have been driven by a commitment to improving health outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of care — values that naturally extend to the mission of BrightStar Care. Having worked closely with global medical teams and patient-centric studies, I bring both technical expertise and a deep sense of empathy to every decision and service provided.
Outside of my professional life, I’m involved with Sri Sathya Sai International Organization since childhood with a mission to Love All-Serve All, currently serving as the devotional service leader. This role has been a spiritual anchor, nurturing qualities such as selfless service, compassion, and respect for all — core principles that now guide my journey as a BrightStar Care franchisee.
Personally, for me opening a BrightStar Care agency is more than a business venture — it is a continuation of a life dedicated to service, where the goal is to uplift the lives of seniors and families in our community with the same love and dignity I would offer it to my own loved ones.

Anuj Sharma
Co-Owner and strategic Head of Business OperationsI’m Anuj Sharma, proud co-owner and strategic Head of Business Operations of BrightStar Care of Waltham, MA. I’m bringing together my global business leadership background in product development and innovation with a deeply personal calling to serve seniors in the local community. With over 15 years of experience at leading companies such as Harman International, SharkNinja, and Whirlpool, I have led breakthrough product development and innovation initiatives aimed at positively impacting lives and enhancing everyday experiences.
Following the passing of my father in 2024, I have felt a profound shift — a calling to dedicate the next chapter of my life to honoring the dignity, comfort, and independence of aging adults. What was once a career focused on improving life through consumer innovation has now evolved into a very personal mission to serve seniors with the same care, respect, and attention they would offer to their own family.
Being an avid sports enthusiast, I have always drawn inspiration from the discipline, teamwork, and resilience cultivated through sports. Whether on the field or in life, sports have taught me invaluable lessons about persistence, empathy, and the importance of supporting others — especially during challenging times. These lessons now shape the way I lead with integrity, building strong caregiving teams, and fostering a culture of mutual respect and empowerment at BrightStar Care.
My mission is further rooted in my practice of Rajayoga meditation for over a decade, which has instilled the values of compassion, kindness, clear thinking and purposeful service. This grounding supports a leadership style that is heart-centered and service-driven — a perfect fit for the ethos of BrightStar Care.
By combining world-class business and spiritual foundational experience with a personal dedication to senior care, I along with my team are committed to building a trusted home care organization that families in Massachusetts can rely on — delivering the kind of care they would want for their own loved ones.
