With over 25 years of experience in home care, Megan Lorenz is dedicated to empowering older adults and individuals with developmental disabilities to thrive in the comfort of their own homes. She leads with a collaborative and compassionate approach, fostering high-performing teams committed to excellence. Under her leadership, BrightStar Care delivers personalized support and clinical expertise, ensuring the highest standards of quality and dignity in every aspect of care.

    Katie Cordaro serves as the Regional Clinical Director. With a robust background spanning 13 years in acute care nursing and home health, she possesses a unique blend of expertise. Her extensive experience equips her to effectively address the chronic health requirements of patients while remaining attentive to emergent acute situations and adeptly managing them. Though her journey began in hospital settings, she found her true passion in home health. Her goal is to uphold safe patient practices and deliver care that exceeds expectations, ensuring optimal well-being for those under their care.

    Director of Nursing
    Breann serves as the Director of Nursing. She is a dedicated registered nurse specializing in home health. For her, nursing is more than just a career—it is a calling rooted in compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to helping others during their most vulnerable moments. Outside of work, Breann is a proud mother of two wonderful children who constantly inspire her to be the best version of herself. Balancing the demands of a nursing career with the responsibilities of motherhood has taught her how to multitask, prioritize, and approach each day with patience and strength. Whether she is comforting a patient or helping with homework, she brings the same dedication and heart to everything she does. She believes in continuous growth, both personally and professionally, and strives to set an example for her children.

    Christopher serves as the Branch Manager. With 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry, he has developed a deep passion for helping others. His work across various clinical settings has given him valuable insight into understanding and meeting the unique needs of each client. He believes that life comes with challenges at every stage, and being able to provide solutions that make a difference is what inspires him daily. Christopher is committed to ensuring compassionate, personalized care for every individual he has the privilege to serve.

    Business Development Manager

    Hi, I'm Erica Burgess. With a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University (NAU), I bring over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of living and working in various states—including New Mexico, Colorado, Tennessee, Texas, Nebraska, Kansas, Oregon, South Carolina, and North Carolina before returning to my roots in Arizona.

    I'm deeply passionate about serving others, particularly seniors. This commitment has led me to focus on enhancing the lives of older adults through compassionate care and community engagement.

    Music has always been a significant part of my life. As a saxophonist, I find joy in performing and connecting with others through melodies. Whether it's the thrill of swing dancing or the serenity of a quiet hike, music accompanies me in many aspects of life.

    Outside of my professional life, I enjoy hiking and am a dedicated Kansas City Chiefs fan. At home in Phoenix, I share my life with my two spoiled dachshunds, Jaxson and Thunder, who bring endless joy and companionship.

    Carrie serves as the Business Development Manager with a combined 20 years' experience in the Behavioral and Healthcare fields. Her goal is to make sure everyone who seeks out BrightStar Care receives compassionate, reliable care. Having used Home Health to care for her disabled brother while working, she has the unique experience of not only being the one who provides services but also understands what it feels like to be on the receiving end and need them.

    Jessica Maldonado serves as the Customer Care Manager. She ensures that their clients receive the care they deserve while maintaining the independence they desire. Jessica has worked as a caregiver for over 17 years and as an LNA for over 9 years in multiple settings, including facilities and hospitals. She believes that once you realize what a difference your help can make, you want to reach as many people as you can. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

    Hello, I'm Trisia, a Client Care Manager with 20 years’ experience in Home Care. I started as a caregiver and have continued to learn and grow my knowledge by working in multiple positions. I really enjoy the work that I do, I love to help our clients stay in their homes and remain as independent as they can. My goal is to continue to learn and to work with our caregivers to continue to provide the best care for our clients.

Her goal is to excel as a Service Coordinator/Skilled Scheduler at BrightStar Care and pursue opportunities for career growth within the organization.

    Angelina Quinonez serves as the Administrative Assistant for BrightStar Care. She is new to the medical field and is excited for this new journey. After spending the last 14 years in an education or legal profession, she made the choice to pursue a new and rewarding career. Currently, she is in the process of completing her bachelor’s degree in business administration, which she knows will be a great benefit in this field. During her free time, she loves to hike with friends, read, and travel with her husband.
