  • Lynn Taylor

    Operations Manager
    Lynn has called Spartanburg County home since she was born. Her 19 years of field experience as an in-home caregiver and her 6 years working in Administration have given her great insight into what takes to deliver quality care. She joined Brightstar Care in May 2016. She has served many roles including Field Specialist, Client Care Manager, Recruiting  and Clinical Services Manager.  Lynn lives on a 36-acre farm and loves the outdoors and loves riding, kayaking, fishing. Anything outdoors! She loves to spend time with her family and especially loves to be with her  grandchildren.

  • Walt Karczewski

    Compliance Management
    Walt was raised near Pittsburgh PA, and after studying art education for two years, went on to achieve an Electronics Degree from Penn Technical Institute.  This led Walt to a position at General Motors of Michigan where he worked and retired from after 36 years at their Emissions Laboratory.  Walt's keen understanding of process flow led to his current career in compliance management. Walt's hobbies are golfing, fishing and hunting, and his passions include his church ministry and a commitment to giving his time to help those in need.  He and his wife Donna have two sons and 5 grandchildren.

  • Megan White

    Nurse Manager RN, BSN
    Megan graduated from USC-Upstate in 2001 with a Bachelors in Nursing. She started her career as a Pediatric Nurse for a local physician’s office, where she fell in love working with babies and children. Working there lead her to become a floor nurse on the mother/newborn nursery unit at Spartanburg Regional from 2005-2013. Later she worked full time as a NICU nurse from 2013 - 2018. She has also been a professional newborn and family photographer since 2010. Megan is an avid animal lover and has 6 cats and a dog and would have more if she had the room. Her long-term goal is to start her own mini farm one day.

  • Donna Karczewski

    Nurse Manager (Caregiver Training), RN, CRRN, BA
    Donna is a Certified Rehabilitation Nurse specializing in Traumatic brain injury.  She has over 40 years of wide-ranging experience including long-term care, psychiatric care and in-home care. She taught nurse aides as a former Adjunct Nurse Educator at Mott Community College and Baker Community College in Michigan. Donna does initial assessments at Brightstar Care and provides detailed plans of care. She has been a case manager for 15 years and loves working with families. She is passionate about nursing and community involvement. She and her husband live in Greer.

  • Tina Craig

    Nurse Manager (Professional/Skilled Services), RN
    Tina is originally from The Upstate and attended USC Spartanburg.  She has over 20 years of experience and as an infusion nurse she is a specialist at in-home I.V. She’s married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren. She loves the outdoors and has “lots of land” which she and her husband share with 9 dogs, 15 cats, 3 miniature horses, 2 birds and a hedgehog. She favors unwanted animals acquired through animal rescue.

  • Ruth Boineau

    Nurse Manager (Pediatrics), RN
    Ruth graduated from Albany Medical Center School of Nursing in New York. She received additional certifications in Post Anesthesia Care, nursing School, Hospice and Palliative Care, and more recently as a Health Coach. She has worked in Home Health and Hospice in SC for many years before joining BrightStar Care. She loves providing home care for Medically fragile children. Ruth and her husband JJohn live with their family in Easley. TThey have 6 children and 2 grandchildren. They enjoy traveling , art, music, writing, trivia contests , experiencing new restaurants in the Upstate, and boating with the family.

    Client Care Manager
    After 14 years in food management, Sandra decided to go back to school in the Medical field for a change of career.  After joining BrightStar in 2016, she was quickly elevated from Caregiver to Field Specialistusing her unique abilities to help design and manage direct client care.  Sandra was born in Puerto Rico and moved many times with her father serving in the military.  She is the mother of three, and she and her husband Angel live in Boiling Springs

    Recruiter
    Dee came on board after the recruiting challenges presented by Covid-19. After 3 years in the Customer Service Industry, Dee took a different path and joined our Home Health Care Team as a Recruiting Specialist. She works with integrity and her best judgment to ensure the excellence necessary to recruit the Upstate's best caregivers!  Dee continues to nurture her skills and set goals for improvement.  Dee comes to us with a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Southeastern Philippines.  Dee loves to be with her 5 month old daughter and her husband. They spend much time together in the church ministry as a part of a musical team.

  • Gloria Watts

    Client Care Manager
    Gloria Is originally from the Upstate, and after receiving an associates degree in Elementary Education, she went on to attain a Bachelor’s Degree in Correctional Programs Support Services from the The University of Phoenix. Gloria started working with BrightStar Care in 2017 as a caregiver while going to school. After her Bachelor’s degree, she spent 2.5 years working for Social Services for the City of Greenville, but decided she missed the Home Care Industry.  She initially came back to us during the Covid Epidemic, and was soon very active with our Covid Monitoring and Testing division. Since then, she has been working with us as our Client Care Manager. Gloria has one son that is in high school. She enjoys spending time with her family on the weekends! She has been a great addition to our team.
