Happy Meet BrightStar Monday

Today we are featuring Nae Washington, one of our Licensed Vocational Nurses here at BrightStar Care Lubbock. Nae first chose to work for BrightStar while experiencing our environment for clinicals. Our team starts their day with Stand-Up. A moment when we share news and events for everyone to know and end with praying for our team, the families we serve and any prayer request from the BrightStar Care family. After witnessing our office team prepare for Stand-Up and prayer, she thought “who wouldn’t want to work for a company who openly prays to Poppa God?”

After gaining experience as an LVN, Nae joined BrightStar 8 months ago. During her time with BrightStar Nae has enjoyed the communication between herself and our office team when she has a need. She also loves that “BrightStar is pretty selfless,” and feels that every time she looks up we are giving to and serving the community around us. 

Nae is inspired by her children and is motivated to be successful. She believes that she is the only person who can keep herself from becoming a successful Nurse and she wants to continue to push herself to become better each day. Because of this Nae has decided to go back to school to become a Registered Nurse. Recently, Nae passed her exam to attend RN school and will be taking the final steps to admission in the next few weeks! 

We are so proud of Nae and all that she is accomplishing! She is so kind, loving, joyful, and compassionate to those around her and we are so thankful to have her on our BrightStar Care Team! If you see her today, be sure to give her a HI-5 and let her know how appreciated she is!
