Maureen Recognized for Leadership in the Alzheimer's and Dementia Community on Long Island

BrightStar Care North Shore Nassau County is proud to celebrate owner Maureen Nickel, who was recently honored with the Outstanding Community Leader Award at the Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center's annual Here's to Hope Luncheon.

Held at the Heritage Club in Bethpage, New York, the event brought together more than 300 community members, healthcare professionals, caregivers, advocates, and local leaders dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

Maureen received the prestigious award in recognition of her ongoing commitment to serving seniors, supporting family caregivers, and helping connect Long Island residents with quality care resources. She was presented the award by Tori Cohen, Executive Director of the Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center.
