  • Elizabeth & Chris Graham

    Owners

Elizabeth and Chris Graham have officially launched a BrightStar Care franchise in Jacksonville, Elizabeth’s home since she was born, and Chris’s since 2000. The impetus of this effort was their personal experience caring for Elizabeth’s aunt. They quickly realized that not everyone receives the quality level of care they should, and the Graham’s wanted to change that. What began as a family responsibility soon evolved into a desire to bring a higher standard of care to others and veterans in their community.

Elizabeth and Chris Graham both had meaningful careers rooted in service. Elizabeth served in the military for six years as an Aviation Operator and spent 20 years in the finance industry as a financial planner. Chris, a Naval Reservist for 24 years and still active today, worked in healthcare administration with the VA. Elizabeth also made history as Florida’s first female high school football coach and even led a Jaguars youth NFL Flag Football team to the national championship.

Their children are actively involved in the business, pursuing educational and career opportunities that complement operations. Their daughter is studying nursing while assisting with office operations, their oldest son is building his career in sales, and their youngest son is training as a nurse.

  • Codie Carter

    Director of Nursing
With over 25 years of experience in home health, Codie brings a deep understanding of patient care, operations, and leadership to everything she does. Her career has spanned the full spectrum of the industry—from sales and business development to executive leadership as an Area Vice President—giving her a well-rounded perspective on how to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while building strong, effective teams.

In response to the growing nursing shortage and her commitment to better support the clinicians she led, Codie made the decision to return to school and earn her nursing degree. For the past five years, she has proudly served as a Registered Nurse, combining hands-on clinical expertise with decades of leadership experience to improve outcomes for patients and support healthcare teams in meaningful ways.

She is passionate about home health because it allows her to make a difference where it matters most—helping patients receive compassionate, high-quality care in the comfort of their own homes. Her background enables her to bridge the gap between clinical care and operational excellence, ensuring both patients and providers are set up for success.

Outside of her professional life, Codie is a devoted spouse, a proud parent of four, and a caregiver to her mother-in-law. These roles have shaped her empathy, resilience, and dedication—qualities she brings into her work every day.
