    Director of Nursing

    How long have you been a nurse?

    I have been a nurse for over 17 years. To start my nursing career, I worked in a nursing home as a License practical Nurse and gradually worked in admissions and was promoted as a supervisor. Feeling limited, I studied hard and became a registered nurse. In 2020 I went back to school and earned my master's in nursing in 2023.

    What expertise and experience do you bring to BrightStar Care?

    I began my career in nursing homes before working in home care, emergency rooms, and even a psychiatric hospital. As I worked in these positions as both a staff nurse and in management roles, I brought these various experiences with me. My time in nursing homes eclipsed 10 years and, at that time, I became an expert in long term care. I gained a lot of experience while further developing my compassion and patience with my clients. I’m proud and grateful for these opportunities that have allowed me to gain expertise in the long term, emergency, psychiatric, correctional, home, and primary care. The value of working management roles allowed me to mold my team with that same model of compassion and patience in mind.

    What part of your job are you most passionate about? 

    I am most passionate about training staff. Through my extensive professional career, I have come to understand what my values are when it comes to patient care. Although we take actions to meet demands of growing patient censuses, the quality of care for the patients must come first. It is important that my entire team firmly understands my mission in collaboration with BrightStar Care to deliver the best versions of ourselves. With the utmost respect for safety, I know that I can make a difference with my team to create a higher standard of care.

    What are three unique strengths you bring to BrightStar Care?

    1. I present an exceptional quality of care. Forming relationships with patients and their families allows for a more open and honest line of communication, which greatly improves each patient’s individualized plan. Details that may seem minute and insignificant may contribute greatly to the patient’s wellbeing. To gain these details, we must first establish that open line of communication.

    2. I stress the value of great teamwork. Building positive interactions between staff members boosts morale overall. When we can feel comfortable in one another and how we approach our patients, the workforce benefits patients immensely. The foundation always stands for doing what is best for the patients.

    3. I present a diverse and unique take on nursing education. Working in different nursing management roles allowed me to gain a vast variety of experience in different settings. I have identified the best recipe for success when educating others. Understanding individual differences in team members while keeping my core mission at the forefront of my mind leads to a diverse staff that all understand that excellent teamwork leads to excellent patient care.

    Owner / Director of Operations

    Having spent more than 30 years in the Consumer Goods industry in roles ranging from retail buyer to leading divisions of a domestic manufacturer, I felt called to return to my entrepreneurial roots after growing up in a family-owned business. Combining that entrepreneurial spirit with my experience in sales, operations, and customer service, I opened our BrightStar Care® agency with the goal of providing a higher standard of in-home care for families throughout the South Shore area.

    As a member of the Plymouth community for over 20 years, it is truly an honor to serve the families in the area I call home. Our mission is to deliver compassionate, dependable care while providing the highest level of professionalism and customer service to every client and family we support.

    Applying my business experience to this meaningful work allows me to make a real difference in people’s lives each day, and I am proud to lead a team that is dedicated to helping our clients live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes.

    A dedicated Business Development Manager serving the South Shore community, focused on building meaningful relationships with local healthcare providers and developing resource partnerships that enhance quality of life for those we serve. With a commitment to a higher standard of care, I work closely with professionals and families to ensure patients and loved ones receive skilled, compassionate, and patient-centered support tailored to their needs.


    My journey in home care began as a family caregiver for my grandfather, who lived to be 99 years old. That experience shaped my passion for helping others live with dignity and reach their fullest potential. Over the years, I have grown professionally through roles including caregiver, scheduler, care manager, and community liaison. This diverse background gives me a well-rounded perspective and a deep understanding of how to effectively connect individuals and families with high-quality home care services.
