Support Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month and Make Memories

June 15, 2018

BrightStar Care of Plano / North Dallas Supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s The Longest Day and Memories in the Making

During the month of June, the Alzheimer's Association asks people around the world to take the Purple Pledge and use their brains to fight Alzheimer's disease. Learn more by clicking here.

The Greater Dallas Alzheimer’s Association is hosting Memories in the Making®, a unique fine arts program for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Working with trained volunteers, the painting activity has the potential to awaken past moments, thought to be lost, and bring them to life through. For more information on this program, click here.

You can also share your story! Be part of Alz.org’s gallery by sharing pictures on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtags #ENDALZ or #EndAlzheimers. You can also follow the Alzheimer’s Association at @alzassociation.

The Longest Day is all about love.

Love for all those affected by Alzheimer's disease. On the summer solstice, team up with the Alzheimer’s Association and select any activity you love — or an activity loved by those affected — to help end Alzheimer’s. Together, we will raise funds and awareness for care and support while advancing research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. More information can be found here.
