Joint Commission Accreditation for High Quality Home Care

Our employment standards and practices have received the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission. The Joint Commission is the nation’s oldest and largest standards setting and accrediting body in health care and has rigorous standards that go above and beyond state requirements. Large hospitals: Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland Medical Center, Sinai and the LifeBridge system all have Joint Commission Accreditation.  This accreditation is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting superior performance standards, and puts your local BrightStar Care within the elite group of less than 10% of in-home health care agencies nationwide, that have received this accreditation.  In Maryland this percentage is less than 2% of all the in-home health care agencies.
