How long have you been a Nurse? I have been a Registered Nurse for seven years. I attended University of Maryland School of Nursing where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. What experience do you bring to BrightStar Care®? Prior to working for Brightstar, I worked at Howard General Hospital for fiver years in the medical surgery unit, surgical telemetry, and the orthopedic surgery unit where I gained a plethora of knowledge about post operative rehabilitation. I also worked for Brightstar as a field nurse prior to accepting the position as assistant director of nursing. What aspect of your job are you most passionate about? I am most passionate about quality of care and fostering close relationships with clients and families which is the main reason I made the transition into home care. I love working with clients and their families to provide an individualized care plan to best meet all their needs while keeping our clients in the comfort and stability of their home. I provide A Higher Standard of Care for our BrightStar Care® clients by… I am determined to provide the best individualized care for our clients by developing and maintaining a relationship with them and their families. I am dedicated to training and supporting our caregivers to provide high quality, patient centered care. I am out in the field most of the time visiting clients and our caregivers and I want out clients to always be receiving wonderful care and our staff to hold to the highest clinical standards.
