 David Strassburg | Owner / President

David Strassburg is the owner of BrightStar Care of Bay County, BrightStar Care of Pensacola, and BrightStar Care of Greater Mobile/Baldwin Co. David and his family reside in Fairhope, Alabama, but they love the Florida Panhandle. David graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences. He later graduated from The University of Alabama School of Law, and thereafter practiced law in lower Alabama and in the Florida Panhandle for many years, with a focus in healthcare law. David started with his branch in Mobile, but with a tremendous team, operations quickly expanded into Florida. David has a passion for helping his clients and employees and is honored every day to work with amazing people. David won the coveted BrightStar Care Rookie of the Year award during his first year. His teams have won multiple Provider of Choice and Employer of Choice awards. David’s branches consistently win awards for clinical excellence.

Holly Henderson RN, BSN | Director of Nursing

 Randi Hilton | Director of Sales & Marketing

Randi moved to Panama City, Florida from Houston, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Florida State University. Passionate about caring for people, she has over twelve years of experience with children, teenagers, and seniors with disabilities. She has spent the last six years in healthcare. Randi joined Brightstar Care in November 2017 to be a part of a team that continuously seeks to improve the quality of life for seniors and their families. She serves her community in the Junior League, Bay County Alzheimer’s Alliance and The Senior Interagency Council. Outside of work, Randi enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. She values her relationships and this role has allowed her to connect people in need with the compassionate caregivers. She is honored and excited to be a part of the BrightStar Family!

 Katie Breuning | Human Resources Director 

Katie joined BrightStar Care in November 2017 as the Human  Resources Director. Her background lies in management, recruiting, and general HR practices. Before coming to BrightStar, she worked as an executive leader in the big-box retail industry, leading a team of 100+ employees and supervisors through all facets of HR. Katie spent a lot of her time recruiting both intern and executive level talent, which is something she's always had a passion for. BrightStar captured her attention due to its rapid growth and mission to positively impact people’s lives. She take tremendous pride in helping this branch excel by finding compassionate, committed, and loyal caregivers and nurses to serve its clients in the surrounding areas. 
Katie earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. In her spare time, she loves to travel, spend time catching sun, and plan her wedding that's happening later this year! Katie is thrilled to be a part of the BrightStar team, and cannot wait to see the future growth unfold. 

 Toccara Black | Customer Care Manager

Toccara started with BrightStar Care in October 2014 as a Certified Nursing  Assistant. She has been a CNA for 11 years! While she is passionate about providing direct care, Toccara was thrilled when she was offered the Administrative Assistant position in 2015. She really enjoyed the new challenge of learning the ins and outs of home care from the office setting. From managing client charts to assisting applicants and new hires, Toccara grew further professionally and advanced to the Customer Care Position in August 2018. The most rewarding part of her job is in knowing that she can help our clients and their family members by staffing them with compatible caregivers. Toccara loves receiving feedback from our clients and when she hears that they really enjoy their caregiver, she says, "that's just wonderful."
Toccara is from Panama City, Florida and loves spending time with her family and friends in her free time. She enjoys rollerskating, watching a good movie, and she loves listening to music. Not a day goes by that you don't hear her say "Alexa, play some good music" in the office!
