Jennifer Bisbee, Vice President of Operations
I have been with BrightStar Care for 11 years in March. I have been in the home health care field for a total of 15 years. I started as a Pharmacy Technician and then shifted my focus to Medical Secretary. After school, I worked in case management handling billing aspects for providers to consumers 60 and older. I enjoyed the interaction with the providers on a day to day basis assisting with claim issues. I eventually sought a position with BrightStar Care, where I have now been since March 2009. I enjoy the ability to help individuals remain safe and independent in their own home. In my free time, I spend it with my daughter (Rylee) and family & friends.
Chrissy Earley, Branch Manager
I am the Branch Manager of the Erie Office, I have been with BrightStar for 7 years. I started with BrightStar in 2012 as a field employee and in 2014 was the companies Community Liaison. In 2017, I was offered the position of the Branch Manager and am very grateful to be in this position. Having the previous experience of working in the field allows me to reach out and connect with our clients on a more personal level, I understand more about their needs and wants and strive for a way to make that happen for them. BrightStar’s core values are near and dear to my heart. I am open and positive. I serve with a passion, make it great and always do the right thing.
Ashley Stazer, Director of Nursing
My name is Ashley and I am an RN. I have been with BrightStar since August of 2017. I obtained my nursing degree in 2010 from Mercyhurst University. I originally started out as a Cardiac Nurse and moved into Home Health Care in 2014-both of which I love! Home Health Nursing is so rewarding because you get to know the clients and have the time to bond with them. The clients look forward to staying in their own homes and you can still provide the education and continuity of care that is needed. My passion in life is animals. In my spare time I love to spend time with my Pugs (Molly, Abbey & Puck), garden, listen to music, shop, watch professional wrestling and hockey, and travel.
Lana Horton, Field Training Manager
I am the FTM (Field Training Manager) of the Erie Office. I started out with BrightStar as a field employee in 2008. After graduating from Mercyhurst North East for practical nursing I remained with BrightStar and continued employment as an LPN. Currently I assist with many tasks from performing hands on training with our field staff as well as many tasks in the office. I am very compassionate and empathetic when it comes to our client’s needs. I enjoy talking with them and getting to know more about who they are and were they come from. When training new employees, I stress the importance of promoting client independence. I understand the importance of them keeping what little independence they have so they have some sense of control in their lives.
Allison Onslow, Billing Specialist
I am the Billing Specialist at BrightStar Care of Erie. I am new to the BrightStar team and have enjoyed my time here thus far. I am grateful for this opportunity to explore the healthcare field with my Communications Degree. I love doing the behind the scenes work for all the clients, while also being able to connect with them and help in any way I can. Working for BrightStar Care has been nothing short of amazing and I am thankful to be working for a company with such passion for their clients.
