BrightStar Care has provided 24/7 care for our adult son with complex medical needs for the past eight years. We are incredibly grateful for our wonderful, dedicated team of caregivers, including our longtime team members Dawn, Will, and Leslie, along with Sunshine, Jamie, Amber, Amy, and Kelsey. They have taken the time to learn how to communicate with our son, understand his needs, and help him live his best life doing the things he loves. Knowing he is happy, safe, and well cared for gives us peace of mind and allows us to travel, spend time with our other sons, and enjoy life knowing he is in wonderful hands. We are truly thankful to BrightStar Care for the compassionate care they provide to our son and our entire family.

Tanika is our primary caregiver for my husband, Dwight, who is paralyzed from the waist down. She comes to our house five days a week and is always cheerful to us and our pets!! She immediately checks on Dwight to see how he feels. Tanika is very thorough and caring in everything she does from, making meals, to helping with showering, dressing and getting my husband in his wheelchair, folding clothes, keeping the kitchen clean, etc. She is like part of our family. We have been using BrightStar care of Waukesha/Lake Country for about 4 months now and we are very happy. We have Patrick and Tracy sharing the care for our son to give my wife and I a well needed break. They take A1 care for our son and he enjoys both of them very much and they will help us around the house and try to stay busy. Patrick and Tracy you both are very appreciated. Thank uou both.

We’ve been with BrighStar of Waukesha for a year now and as a Guardian the quality of care is the #1 variable that impacts the my son’s life and ours. It is measured by my son’s ability to live his life as independently and safely as possible. My son sustained a brain injury in 2008 and after years of nightmares in the Family Care system, we switched to the IRIS program in 2015 and it’s made all the difference. As an IRIS vendor BrightStar has worked with me to establish a care plan that meets mu son’s needs and provides some autonomy as well as integration that allows us to hire the best qualified individuals for my son’s care. In our specific circumstances we have several “bright stars”! Phil has been with Michael for nearly 8 years and I love how he takes him to get coffee, goes to the movies, they go out to celebration dinners and even goes to visit Family. He genuinely cares for Michael and provides invaluable feedback. Trice and Vanessa are newer to the team but have been such great additions to my son’s team and contribute significantly to the success of his care. They stepped right in and were well qualified to provide Michael encouragement, transportation like all team members do and offering engaging conversation, holding important accountabilities with respect and also providing him an outlet to share his love of knowledge, Jesus and music! Jesse is the last team member I’d like to do a shout out to… He’s been extremely reliable and willing to fill-in where needed. He has the sincerest desire to help my son live his best life and I couldn’t do it without them all. Last few shout outs of course, 1st to to Mark, my partner and my son’s greatest champion. He’s the ultimate calmer downer, the provider of humor, our time tracker, and overall just an amazing human, then there is lovely Jini, she works within the Bright Star office and has provided such incredible understanding, attention to detail and has such a friendly, sweet disposition that it makes my life which can be challenging as a guardian, so much easier. I appreciate her so much and last but not least shout out to Robert and his entire team for continuing to work with me to provide the highest level of care for my son. Rockstars every one!! The staff, including the schedulers, are great to work with. The entire staff has genuine concern for the well-being of all of its clients.

BrightStar has been a wonderful company to work for as a CNA. Robert the owner has been great along with the HR Ryan , both have been accommodating whenever I have reached out with questions or concerns. Jini the lead scheduler is top notch when fitting me with clients to care for, love hearing her little giggle whenever she calls 🙂 I really feel appreciated and seen by this company for my work. My experience with BrightStar Care was a great opportunity for me to be in the position to help others. A job as a Caregiver with BrightStar Care was a delightful experience to give back my skills in which God gave me so I may be a blessing to others.

Overall, my experience with brightstar of Waukesha in the 6 months I've been with them has been very positive. I'm a 24-hour client on Medicaid and they have never left me alone and always fulfilled my shifts. My lead caregiver Nadia Is magnificent, she's like my guardian angel. She keeps up my condo for me and keeps things clean, organized and in order. She's a person of exceptional character and integrity. Nadia has a great personality and sense of humor and keeps things from getting depressing around here. Cuz when you're bed bound at age 45 with progressive MS it's often hard to stay positive. Things have gotten so much better for me especially with her help and high level of skill and caring touch. my needs have increased dramatically over especially the last 3 years. My other caregivers are overall very good too. In that time I have had five Total caregiving companies and brightstar is the best one so far. I hope they continue to provide the service I'm getting now for a long time to come.

Shout out to the bright star schedulers, who keep this train moving. They do a great job keeping up with the never ending schedule changes. I have been an employee of bright star care for a number of years. I tend to stay with my clients for a long time, but Jini one of the few who manage the employee scheduling is awesome to work with and always puts the clients first to make sure they have someone there to help at all times.
