Joe Grubb | President
My inspiration for founding BrightStar came from my dad, Ed Grubb who had to deal with the effects of Parkinson’s Disease every day. I am very proud to have been able to provide care for my dad and also for people across East Tennessee who need some help in their daily lives. My wife, Phylis and I live in Maryville and are both graduates of the University of Tennessee. In 2007, I received my Certified Senior Advisor Certification.
Freda Meade | Branch Manager
As the branch manager, I oversee the office staff and make sure all processes and procedures are followed with customer service being our number one priority. I have learned that BrightStar of Knoxville consistently delivers quality senior home health care with qualified dependable personnel. My background includes hospital work as well as management of a retirement community, so I am well acquainted with the concerns and problems of the elderly. I am very excited and pleased to be able to work for a company who puts customer goals and satisfaction first.
Ray Meade | Field Supervisor Although a member of the office staff, I am the face of BrightStar seen in the homes of our clients. I regularly visit our clients and caregivers in their homes to assess the quality of care and to build a bridge of trust between the business and the services BrightStar provides. I also address any concerns and problems that the client and/or caregiver may have and work with them to find solutions. I make sure that BrightStar is delivering the best quality senior home health care that is possible. I am very honored to be able to assist both clients and the company toward reaching that goal.
Cheryl Davis │ QA/QC Manager With over 9 yrs experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance and over 6 years in Home Health, I enjoy my position as QA/QC Manager with BrightStar. I am able to provide for all our staff OSHA training and Quality Assurance training to help provide not only safety in the field but superior quality. I also am responsible for maintaining our highly acclaimed Joint Commission Accreditation. I have been a Notary of Public for over 10 years. I look forward to working with our staff and clients at BrightStar and facing the everyday challenges in the Home Healthcare field.
Rachel Kinsey │ Accounts Coordinator
I have worked in the home health profession for 8 years both as a home caregiver and as office staff. I have seen firsthand the care that BrightStar of Knoxville extends to both its clients and caregivers. I love my job and to know that we take care of people who need our help makes it rewarding. Michelle Beeler | Staffing and HR Coordinator As the Staffing Coordinator, I am responsible for hiring and training new employees as well as managing the schedules of our clients and caregivers.
