The experience with BrightStar Anchorage was seamlessly excellent from start to finish. The entire team made our family feel like a priority from the first phone call, and the care they have for their clients is obvious. After a horrible experience with another company, to be in unquestionably reliable and expert hands was such a relief for our family. Kendra was my son's nurse and we felt so confident trusting him to her care - her expertise and dedication to the most positive outcome for our kiddo was evident throughout the process. Mary was another incredibly positive and reassuring member of the care team, who we also really appreciated! Truly cannot recommend them enough for anyone in Alaska!

This was my first experience with Bright Star. I've had home help and yard help before but not with this company. I had a young energetic extremely pleasant girl late 20s for most Mondays late December through early February. She has temporarily stopped to give birth. It takes planning on my part to come up with three hours of useful work cleaning sorting shopping going to post office she wrapped some packages for me folded clothes helped me get thjngs off high shelves by taking them from me so I could stay safe. We reorganized my pantry and large areas of my garage. I felt she was a good fit. I'm 83 and I am finding it hard to have the energy to do all the cleaning and maintenance chores I have. I may have to have fewer visits or heavier work done. I was pleased with the organization of Bright Star their initial interview and their printed material. I've had no prjnter since I upgraded some software and I've had to stop driving. So I have increasing needs that I have to address. Lots of appointments. Need other kinds of help, too. Will start a new person in Feb will try every other Monday schedule. Driving help a big plus. Access to their number seems ok. It's a one number to call for everythjng.

Unwilling to provide medical services. Which is odd because most their staff is either former or current nurses. GREAT help with other facets however!

They are dedicated in helping manage medications.

Brightstar has been incredible. I was thrust into needing to find care for my mom and they have been compassionate, flexible, professional and really taken such a load off. Elisa went above and beyond when we had some bumps getting my mom settled at home and June has been a real stabilizing force and is so loving with my mom. Honestly i feel like they deserve 10 stars!

I just wanted to share my experience when I called I was more confuse than ever but , Amy went above and beyond. I called at 10pm expecting a voicemail, and instead got a live, wonderful person who took the time to explain my options. She helped me secure my dad’s VA benefits and, on her own time, checked in to make sure things were progressing. She even transferred my dad to a nearby facility in Texas and followed up afterward. It’s clear your office staff is outstanding, and I can’t imagine how amazing your caregivers and nurses are. I highly, 100 percent, recommend your company to my friends. Ms. Amy, you are spectacular.

Christine and Doris are the BEST caregivers! They both took such good care of our dad. They are patient, kind, and AMAZING communicators! We never had to worry when they were with him. He always enjoyed their company (and their cooking)! We cannot thank you ladies enough for the wonderful care and support you provided our father and our family.

These people are very easy to work with. Ive had three different care takers and all are outstanding. Easy to talk to, and make changes with because of appointments and changes as we move forward. Thank you Bright Star for making my life easier during my trying times. Your folks always have a kind word or a good word of advice. Some are things I know but refuse to face up to. They have become my rock to lean on. Thank you all! I head about you from another veteran where I live. Im so happy he told me about you folks. You have been my Bright Star as of late. Thanks again. Great care provided to my husband by the women caregivers! One strange experience with Adrian who had vanished when my husband got up to use the toilet in the middle of the night, and Adrian was not present at 7 am to pass on to the dayshift. BrightStar however did replace Adrian and the rest of the time was uneventful. In particular we are thankful to Talaluma M., Gayanna L. and Christine L. for providing great care.
