The team at Brightstar continuously provides the highest level of care. Their highly skilled registered nurses make it possible for me to receive my treatments in my home. Without them I would be driving to the hospital three days in a row every three weeks. I would have a higher infection risk and a much lower quality of life. Instead, I enjoy the lovely company of Bobbi, Mary, Ashley, and Kendra while in the comfort of my own home. In addition to skilled nursing care, I also have the assistance of Brightstar CNAs multiple days each week. With their help I am able to safely ambulate throughout my house, and have assistance with meal prep, medication reminders and daily tasks that I am too weak to complete on my own. Ms Doris and Miana both far exceed any expectation and not only provide care and assistance, they provide true companionship. Without them here, there would be much less laughter in my days. They are also very helpful in reminding me when I need to take a break or rest, something my husband is grateful for. I tend to push myself too far, leading to worsened symptoms and less ability to care for myself after. Scheduling care and assistance as well as infusion services has been exceptionally easy. Shelly ensures to understand my weekly needs and is always willing and able to work around my appointments and times that I travel to the lower 48. Even when emergency surgery delayed my infusions, the entire team was ready and available to ensure I had the care that I needed as soon as I was home. Brightstar is just that in my life, a beacon that I can count on no matter the circumstances.

Very professional and competent RN for infusion in our home. The coordination of with our neurologist and primary care physician was excellent and we were confident in the care we received.

UPDATE: Regular service. Reliable times. High turnover. I have had 5 different caregivers in the last 2 weeks. I LIKE and TRUST my first, Casey. Unfortunately, I have not heard from her again.

The experience with BrightStar Anchorage was seamlessly excellent from start to finish. The entire team made our family feel like a priority from the first phone call, and the care they have for their clients is obvious. After a horrible experience with another company, to be in unquestionably reliable and expert hands was such a relief for our family. Kendra was my son's nurse and we felt so confident trusting him to her care - her expertise and dedication to the most positive outcome for our kiddo was evident throughout the process. Mary was another incredibly positive and reassuring member of the care team, who we also really appreciated! Truly cannot recommend them enough for anyone in Alaska!

This was my first experience with Bright Star. I've had home help and yard help before but not with this company. I had a young energetic extremely pleasant girl late 20s for most Mondays late December through early February. She has temporarily stopped to give birth. It takes planning on my part to come up with three hours of useful work cleaning sorting shopping going to post office she wrapped some packages for me folded clothes helped me get thjngs off high shelves by taking them from me so I could stay safe. We reorganized my pantry and large areas of my garage. I felt she was a good fit. I'm 83 and I am finding it hard to have the energy to do all the cleaning and maintenance chores I have. I may have to have fewer visits or heavier work done. I was pleased with the organization of Bright Star their initial interview and their printed material. I've had no prjnter since I upgraded some software and I've had to stop driving. So I have increasing needs that I have to address. Lots of appointments. Need other kinds of help, too. Will start a new person in Feb will try every other Monday schedule. Driving help a big plus. Access to their number seems ok. It's a one number to call for everythjng.

Unwilling to provide medical services. Which is odd because most their staff is either former or current nurses. GREAT help with other facets however!
