Unlike other home care providers, we offer both non-medical and medical home care. This means we can provide skilled nursing services like wound care, post-surgical recovery, and medication management, as well as companion care and personal care support.
In addition, all of our home care services and client care plans are overseen by a registered nurse (RN), who provides clinical oversight and guidance for our local care team. This is a layer of quality and safety you won’t find with other Athens / Greensboro home care agencies.
What are your hiring practices for caregivers and nurses?
BrightStar Care of Athens / Greensboro strives to hire quality, compassionate home care professionals. We require all caregivers and nurses working with our in-home care clients to be properly trained, certified, and/or licensed per Georgia law. In addition, all employees must pass drug screens and background checks, maintain current CPR certification, and take tuberculosis (TB) tests.
