Kendall is presenting a wellness talk on stress management to the residents of BrightView Rolling Hills. Stress is defined as the physical or mental response caused by an external factor-- which may can be experienced as a one-time occurrence or prolonged periods of time. Anxiety is an internal experience that generally involves a persistent feeling of apprehension or dread that doesn’t go away which may interfere with how you live your life. According to the APA, 1 in 3 Americans reported experiencing extreme stress from the pandemic which has prevented their ability to make decisions and live a normal life.
