Baltimore County Senior Craft Gallery - Activities for Seniors

Baltimore County Department of Aging is promoting the talents of senior adults.

"Energize Your Life" at any of the 20 senior centers located throughout Baltimore County. Suddenly there is a whole new world to explore and experience. Just by passing the milestone of being 60 years or older you can improve your mind, enliven your body and lift your spirits.
 
Baltimore County craftsperson’s aged 55 and older may consign their handiwork to the Baltimore County Senior Craft Gallery. Senior Craft Gallery is located in the former Loch Raven Elementary School at 1801 Glen Keith Boulevard in the Towson-Parkville area. Consignees set their own prices on each item and the Gallery adds 25 percent to cover operating costs.
 
The purpose of the Senior Craft Gallery is to
: Provide a volunteer-led consignment outlet for the sale of art and hand-crafts produced by senior adults in Baltimore County.

Assist the Baltimore County Department of Aging by promoting the awareness of the abilities and talents of senior adults.
 
Handcrafted items include: knitted and crocheted sweaters, dolls and teddy bears, wooden furniture, needlecrafts, ceramic wares, children's clothing and toys. Themed items for the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens are also available at affordable prices.
 
The public is invited to visit the Craft Gallery from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and from 9 a.m. until noon on the first and third Saturdays of each month.
