The Director of Skilled Services for BrightStar Care of Chicago and La Grange will be responsible for a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to working closely with the Director of Nursing- D.O.N.  to improve the quality of patient care and all services provided by our BrightStar Care team.

Although you will work directly with the D.O.N., as a part of the BrightStar Care team, you will also work closely with the Branch Manager, Marketing Director, Sales and Customer Care Managers.

The Director of Skilled Services will-
  • Be responsible for interacting, and managing Brightstar National Accounts including the assignment, completion and documentation of all orders in the program
  • Oversee and manage the work and services provided by the entire nursing team ensuring quality customer service and compliance with all federal, state and local rules and regulations, as well as the policies and procedures set by BrightStar Care.
  • Support as necessary the clinical field services, such as supervisory visits, LRVs, infusion therapy and at times participate in direct patient care.
  • Support the D.O.N. in improving quality care for patients,  customer service for all lines of services, training as well as sustaining all ongoing Joint Commission and BrightStar Care programs. 
Requirements 

Registered nurse with current unencumbered licensure in Illinois with minimum of 1 yr documented experience

Administrative, leadership and customer service skills or experience 

Understands regulatory compliance 

CPR, Driver License

Infusion skills, IVIG preferred

Case Management skills are a plus

Supervisory experience is a plus
