What does BrightStar Care® of Chico do?
We offer high-quality, nurse-led home care for seniors, adults, and children in Chico. This includes companion care, personal care, transitional care after hospital discharge, skilled nursing care, and specialty care services for those with special needs and disabilities. Every in-home care plan is developed and overseen by a registered nurse (RN) to ensure that your family receives personalized care with additional layers of quality and safety.
Is BrightStar Care® of Chico licensed and accredited?
Yes, we are licensed to operate as a home care provider in California. We’re also accredited by The Joint Commission, meaning our agency has demonstrated that we align with BrightStar Care policies and procedures, Joint Commission standards, and state requirements.
What are your hiring practices for nurses and caregivers?
All caregivers and nurses are required to be properly trained, certified, and/or licensed per California state law. We also require all employees to pass a background check and drug screen, have current CPR certification, and complete a tuberculosis (TB) test.
