Dear Ali, Betsy, and Brian,

Please forgive my slowness. I’ve been meaning to write to you for several weeks about Brightstar’s care for my brother-in-law, Steven “Brownie” Brown who passed away May 2.

This won’t be long — but YOU WERE SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY. My sister needed you so that she would not feel guilty about putting Brownie in a nursing home. She also needed you because she was completely devoted to him and wanted the very best care, which was often more than she could handle. Now, she KNOWS she did the right thing and feels at ease.

Thank you for kindness and professionalism every time one of us called or when you called one of us. The humor didn’t hurt either, especially during tough times! Thanks for hiring the right kinds of folks to be on your team and with Brownie. I can’t recall one caregiver who turned us off in any way. However, I can recall two who became like family and who continue to check on Marshanna periodically — Anasha and Bernard. They were remarkable, and Marshanna “gifted” them when all was over to show her deep appreciation.

We were all saddened by Brownie’s illness and death. However, I was saddened also that our relationship with Brightstar ended and that I no longer get calls from such professional, caring, and uplifting folks. The three of you were the best!

We had a wonderful experience with BrightStar and the care of my mother. They were always there when they said they would be and treated my mother so lovingly.

We met BrightStar last April. My wife was in rehabilitation following surgery and chemotherapy for Primary Central nervous system Lymphoma. She had a craniotomy to remove a major portion of the tumor. She had a problem with her walking and balance. Additionally she lost part of her field of vision. BrightStar provided her with care throughout the recovery. After 75 days we are completely satisfied with their services. All the staff and aides were very well trained and professional.while no one wants to go through in home care, BrightStar was a very good choice for us

When my wife needed care giver assistance, a friend recommended BrightStar Care. We are so grateful she did. BrightStar has exceeded our expectations. All of their employees, including the care givers, are professional, courteous, and helpful. We could not be more pleased with their service.

Working with Brightstar has been an all-around good experience. The Brightstar office staff is quick to respond to reasonable changes requested by the family. The CNA staff overall is very good; caring, understanding, responsible and well-trained. The owners check in periodically with family members and caregivers in order to make sure things are going well and to find out what might be improved. At a difficult time of change, Brightstar has been key to the ongoing happiness, health and welfare of our elders needing care, which in effect, improves the outlook of our entire extended family. We are thankful for Brightstar and highly recommend their services!

Bright Star was very dependable providing care for our parents while they were staying in assisted living. Brian and Holly are very caring owners and go out of their way to communicate anytime during the day or night. It is a bonus that Holly has a nursing background to explain medical issues and medications and to go check on our parents when there were medical issues. Bright Star gave us a safety net for care that may not be provided by the assisted living facility or hospice. We used a different agency for many years but the relationship with assisted living management deteriorated. Management enjoyed working with Bright Star because of the communication and responsiveness they provided. We would highly recommend Bright Star care.

Our experience with Brightstar Care has been wonderful in every way. Brian, the owner, comes out, sits down with you and discusses your individual situation and explains the services that Brightstar can provide. Holly, a Nurse with Brightstar, attends your first day of care with your caregiver to make sure that everyone has an understanding of the care that is to be provided. We have used Brightstar for over six months and we have been very happy with the excellent care. They have met our every need.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the quality of care from Brightstar for my mother in law. They were always professional and so compassionate. I highly recommend this company for your family’s needs of care.
