More About BrightStar Care Danvers / North Shore
A Letter from the Owners-Thank you for finding us!
Our goal is to provide the kind of medical and non-medical services for you and your family that we want for our own parents and children. As part of the “Sandwich Generation,” we have had to learn to cope with the demands of a young family, while also facing the challenge of caring for aging parents who live far away from us. The issue of in-home care is one that’s very close to our hearts. Chris’s parents, in their eighties, live in Vermont, several hours’ drive from their nearest family. After a series of strokes and surgeries, Jean is very limited in mobility. David is her primary caregiver; but it’s tough for him to remember all the details of housekeeping that were never “his job” when they were younger. Sarah’s mother, in her seventies, lives in California – a whole day’s flight away. Although Betsy gets around pretty well on her own, despite two knee and five hip replacements, we are all aware of the challenges that would arise if she needed homecare services. We’ve seen the toll that aging has taken on our parents, and on their relationships and their activities. Because we’re having the same kinds of personal experiences that you may be facing, we know you want caregiving that’s trusted, caring and compassionate, as well as highly skilled and experienced. That’s why we seek out the very best care givers, RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to offer you top-quality assistance with any of your in-home care challenges. When we decided to open a facility to offer home health services to families on the North Shore and in Essex County, we knew it was important for us to work under the umbrella of a trusted name like BrightStar. It allows us to capitalize on their health care expertise, while making the best use of our educational and professional knowledge. Chris is a graduate of the University of Vermont, with an MBA from Babson Business School; Sarah graduated from Middlebury College, and holds an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Both of us have worked for businesses in the greater Boston area. Proudly serving Merrimac, Amesbury, North Andover, Methuen, Beverly, Boxford, Byfield, Danvers, Essex, Gloucester, Ipswich, Lawrence, Haverhill, Manchester, Groveland, Georgetown, Middleton, Newburyport, Newbury, Salisbury, Peabody, Andover, Rockport, Rowley, West Newbury in MA.
