I am a 78 year old disabled Viet Nam Veteran with several physical issues that not only limit my ability to care for myself but also keep me from properly taking care of my wife of 59 years who is fighting Alzheimers. Our caregiver from Brightstar, Cherita, is a Godsend!! She seems to always know what needs to be or should be done. Transportation, personal care, meal planning, meal preparation, light housekeeping, personal safety needs, etc. etc. Cherita is always there to take care of everything. In addition, Cherita is a warm and wonderful companion for my wife and I can't tell you what a blessing it is for me to know that she has someone to watch and look after her if I need to take a nap or leave the house. In summary let me just say that the quality of our lives has improved dramatically thanks to Cherita's skills, dedication, and hard work. Thank you Brightstar for sharing her with us.

If you even need help with Lovenox injections, Brightstar Care in Denton, Tx can help. Nurse Judith (RN) came out, took my vital signs, checked for swelling in ankles, checked blood oxygen, etc. She was thorough, professional, knowledgeble, and compassionate She put me at ease while I gave myself my first Lovenox shot. Boy, was I nervous. But it was eazy peazy! I love Judith!!

I recently had a hip replacement surgery and am I ever thankful for the referral I received for BrightStar Care Denton. The first couple of weeks after a major surgery are most critical, and the BrightStar team delivered the goods! They were prompt, courteous, and responsive to my needs. I have enjoyed working at BrightStar Care Denton. The office staff are friendly and always willing to help, and I absolutely love taking care of and helping our clients. I love that we get to provide home care for those that need help around the house with daily activities, as well as provide skilled nursing care to those that need it. 3 weeks ago was diagnosed with a septic blood infection requiring a PICC line ..Katie was my nurse and she's my favorite ..however one week she was out of town and a trainee came over to change my PICC bandage and her gloves got stuck in the PICC lock and she pulled my line partially out and tried to push it back in but once the line hits air it's not sterile had to go to the ER and have the line pulled and put in the other arm it was a huge mess and a very expensive one this cost me about 8 grand I will be contacting a lawyer
