I have been a once-a-week client of the local BrightStar for a bit over three months (since my spouse died). I have been quite satisfied with the early CNAs who changed every week or two. The CNA who has come for the last several weeks (Fran) has been exceptional in my opinion, dealing with the various needs of a somewhat-grieving person.

BrightStar Care of Carroll & Frederick County has done everything they have said they would do when describing their service, smart group of people with very kind attitudes toward their clients. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing this type of care!

As an employee, the fellow employees are amazing. We always strive for the highest quality of care. Therefore, every employee has an extensive background check, at least 1-5 years experience, then goes through our orientation process. Being accredited by the Joint Commission and the VA we are held to the highest standards in the medical services industry. We are always striving to be better and serve our clients with the highest quality of care. (We do everything from infant care, basic caregiving, skilled nursing, Infusions, PT, OT, etc.) Our Director of Nursing evaluates EVERY client to make sure we are continuing to follow best practices. We can assist those with VA benefits as well.

Shirley was phenomenal, was absolutely wonderful and walked me through the whole process and helped me with everything possible, stayed later and came out later to accommodate my schedule and was one of the sweetest people to help. I cannot believe the amazing service i received from her and her team. Thank you BrightStar.

Exceptional nurse - super sweet!

Brightstar has been a godsend in providing our caregiver Rose. She has been with us more than a year and I am very thankful for her support and compassion in caring for my mom. I am also grateful for Jessica’s help with billing and scheduling, especially for care that is needed for more than the usual weekly schedule.

This is Stewart Burlew, I have ALMOST nothing bad to say about Brighstar. They are skillful, courteous, prompt, and lots of fun. It is a joy in my day when Catherine comes around weekly to see me. When my Dr fails to send something that they were supposed to so that she can do her job, she ALWAYS has a great solution...which a greatly appreciate. The only down side I have is when Catherine went on vacation and her replacement never showed up. Other than that, I absolutely love Brightstar and Catherine!!! Feel comfortable in trusting in these Nurses!!!!

THANK GOD FOR BRIGHT STAR CARE !! We needed an extra hand in caring for Mom and Bright Star was an answer to prayer. We gave them a call and they responded immediately. They came to us which made it very convenient. We immediately felt this was right for us. Their experienced team helped us determine frequency and levels of care. Mom was not at all happy about this initially but, again, this experienced team, patiently, and lovingly won her over. Katherine, you're GREAT! And, for the record, Mom's health, outlook and overall well being has GREATLY IMPROVED ! Next came my concerns of finding a good fit for Mom-after all Mom was still feeling some invasion of privacy and independence. Almost immediately they said they were pretty sure they had a perfect match-and they did!! Debi is so kind, loving, patient. She quickly became part of the family and was quickly accepted by Mom. The whole staff from scheduling to billing has been very good. They're flexible with holidays and days NOT needed and they don't try to lock you into anything. If you need more, they will accommodate. We are very happy we found Bright Star Care. That seems to be what they do best, CARE. Hope Mom's health continues and we can keep our Debi for a long time to come.
