I have to share just how wonderful it is to have Shonda Ferguson as care giver for my father Mr R.E.Johnson in the Fredericksburg office location. Her personal caring for him is at best irreplaceable. Her attention is not only for physical assistance but mental. I’ve witness conversation, laughter and lesson thought to each other. She tend with and for him as if he was her own father. The concern is there for his well being. Without her help I’m not sure how’d be have managed. She’s been a blessing in many ways to him and us. Thank you’s will never be enough but I give them when I see her or talk to her. She much appreciated. We thank you for her many times over. 🤲

Shonda has been a caregiver for our family for nearly a year, and we are incredibly grateful for the care she provides. Her patience with our dad is truly outstanding, and she consistently meets all of his needs with compassion and professionalism. She is dependable, courteous, and always punctual. We couldn’t ask for a better person to care for our dad.

Debbie Rodrigues is my care provider (half day four days a week and one overnight monthly). She is an extremely hard worker that cleans and tidies my bedroom and bathroom daily, does laundry, and makes lunch in addition to other tasks that may present itself. She also drives me to PT, the barber. the pool and other routine appointments. All of this is extremely valuable. But what I especially appreciate is her caring and attentiveness to my needs. She is always closely attending to my mobility issues, and draws on her years of experience with Parkinson's and other clients to make suggestions about possible ways to deal with new situations. I benefit form her use of videos to insure that I attend to my voice and exercise needs. And on top of all of these things, she challenges me with things like building Lego's, painting and playing table games. Debbie's positive attitude and efforts are immensely valued by my wife and I. On a scale 0f 1-10, Debbie definitely deserves a 15!

We've used BrightStar for about a year now. Our favorite caregiver is Oliva P. She is always on time, is very calm and gentle. She truly cares about my severely disabled and bed bound spouse. She's like a member of the family. We wish we could have her every day! Jess and Melissa are always there to help when someone calls out.

Tina has been an incredible caregiver for my grandfather and our whole family. She is very sweet, patient, and genuinely caring. From the start, she made my grandfather feel comfortable and treated him with kindness and respect. She has been there for us during the toughest times and gives our family a lot of peace of mind. She’s amazing!

I can hardly find the words to describe how grateful we are for BrightStar! We had a seamless transition from having care provided in a memory care facility to in home care. The staff are sweet, gentle and caring with my father who has Lewey Body dementia with Parkinson’s. They help keep him active and engaged as much as possible. When Dad was in the hospital, office staff stopped in to check on him; not because they had to, but because they are in the business of caring. We are so incredibly blessed to have BrightStar to care for my father when I need a break to recharge or get a good nights sleep without worrying about his safety.
