I bring a diverse background to the role of Director of Nursing. I am a US Army Nurse Corps veteran, I hold a Master’s degree in Nursing and a Master's degree in Education in Leadership and hold several certifications as a Certified Worksite Wellness Specialist and Certified Wellness Practitioner, as well as a Certificate in Health Care Ethics. My passions are education, health, and wellness.  I enjoy kayaking, hiking, travel, working out, cooking, and my friends & family. My core values are faith, teamwork, collaboration, lifestyle wellness, and education.

I have worked in health care for over 24 years in a variety of environments including Nursing Facilities, Hospitals, and Home Care. I left my prior employment as a Care Manager to help take care of my Mother-in-Law. However, I did miss the field I work in and wanted to reengage with the working world. I love caring for the elderly community and have volunteered with multiple organizations to help and assist our elderly community. I have a passion for building and developing relationships with people. 

I have been fortunate to live in multiple countries with my family, learning and exploring various cultures. While I have a diverse professional background encompassing physical fitness, business management, and healthcare, working for the past 8 years in healthcare has been the most fulfilling. I strive to provide exceptional service, advocating for clients and empowering our healthcare workforce. In my free time, you’ll find me traveling with my family and friends, enjoying outdoor sports, and reading an endless number of books.
