Bill was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and has a BS in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University. He moved to Ft Lauderdale in 2002. He is also an international field representative and sits on the board of directors of People for Care and Learning. PCL is a non-profit humanitarian organization that cares for the poor by combining training with opportunities that give the poor a working chance toward a brighter future. He also is an active member of Men and Women of Action that is a volunteer organization that builds schools, churches, medical clinics, orphanages and learning centers around the world. He has been with PCL and MWOA for the past 11 years. Prior to PCL, he founded Phoenix Communication Group in 1988. Phoenix was an IT staffing and consulting company in the New York metropolitan area that was sold in 1998 to a public corporation.

Peter is from upstate NY and has a BS in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University. He is also a CPA and owns Big Shots Sports Bar in Woodbridge, NJ. Prior to joining the BrightStar organization he founded Phoenix Communication Group in 1988. Phoenix was an IT staffing and consulting company in the New York metropolitan area that was sold in 1998 to a public corporation. Peter also worked for Price Waterhouse for 4 years.

Lori was born and raised in Long Island, New York and is our Executive Director of Operations. Lori has over 30 years of home health experience and is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Service. Previously Lori served as our Director of Nursing for Brightstar Care and she has concentrated her career in Home Health. Prior to that, Lori worked at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and Memorial Regional hospital in Hollywood, Florida as a Catheterization Lab Technologist and Registered Nurse. Lori’s daily activities includes overseeing the Billing and Payroll, Scheduling and Human resources departments.

Lisa was born and raised in South Florida and is our Director of Nursing. Lisa has over 10 years of home health experience. She has a Bachelor’s in Nursing and has worked in Medical Surgical at Broward General Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. She has extensive knowledge with infusions and was on a Rapid response team at the hospital. She has been an intricate part of our team assisting with all the requirements to remain compliant with the state and Joint Commission. Lisa and her dog Nova live near the beach, and she enjoys taking her for walks on the beach and swimming in her pool.

Al is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience. The majority of his career has been as a High Tech Pediatric Nurse. He is presently working as the Assistant Director of our Brightstar agency in the Fort Lauderdale / Pompano East. He is also the Clinical Field Supervisor and oversees all critical high tech home health cases as well as Clinical Trials of many orphan diseases (e.g. Hemophillia: Blood Diseases, Multiple Sclerosis etc.). Al often brings treats and toys to the children he works with, bringing a little extra happiness to the tough situations they have to experience.
