Our Staff at BrightStar Care® Happy Valley

As a State College native and Penn State alumnus, Jason Lieb’s roots are firmly planted in Central Pennsylvania. With a degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling, Jason followed his passion for helping others starting in the Baltimore City school system and eventually to Meadows Psychiatric Center as a hospital administrator. Working in a hospital based system provided great insight for the direction health care was going, specifically the shift towards shorter hospital stays and as a result, increasingly high readmission rates. This led Jason to begin researching entrepreneurial opportunities that would allow him to help provide the type of quality in-home care that many in the region so desperately needed. Jason has extended his commitment of a person centered approach to clients as well as all employees at BrightStar Care of Happy Valley.

Meghan Pieniazek joined the BrightStar family in February 2016. She is currently serving as the Branch Manager of our Happy Valley office. One of Meghan’s deepest passions is being an advocate for others. Using her educational background in Occupational Therapy, she seeks to help others identify and eliminate barriers to their independence and encourage them to participate in more meaningful life experiences. As Branch Manager, Meghan applies her experience as a care provider into seeking caregivers who hold the same dedication for helping others as she has held for over a decade. In addition to playing a key role in the on-boarding process, Meghan has been appointed operations super user for BrightStar’s innovative proprietary ABS mobile system. A local to the Centre Region, and a Penn State alumnus, Meghan brings both her passion for people and love of Happy Valley into her role as our Branch Manager.
