While our services are strictly non-medical—such as companion care and personal care—all of our home care services, care teams, and client care plans are supervised by our Director of Nursing, who provides clinical oversight and guidance.
What are your hiring practices for caregivers?
BrightStar Care of Hayward / Fremont strives to hire qualified, compassionate caregivers to work with our home care clients. All caregivers must be properly trained and/or certified, per California state law. Additionally, all employees are required to pass a drug screen and background check, have current CPR certification, and complete a tuberculosis (TB) test.
