This past weekend, Hall B of the Irving Convention Center was filled with energy, connection, and an incredible community of women.
The Ultimate Women’s Expo brought together countless vendors, organizations, and businesses with one common goal: empowering women to prioritize their health, wellness, and well-being. From health and beauty to fitness, lifestyle, and community resources, there was something for everyone.
And BrightStar Care of Irving/Dallas Metro was honored to be part of it.
More Than a Booth—A Chance to Connect
For us, the Women’s Expo was about more than simply introducing people to BrightStar Care. It was an opportunity to have meaningful conversations with women and families throughout our community.
One of the things we heard again and again was:
“I’ve never heard of BrightStar Care before.”
And honestly, that made being there even more meaningful.
Many people don't think about in-home care until a loved one suddenly needs it. A parent has an unexpected health event. Someone is recovering from surgery. A family member begins needing help with everyday activities. A child requires specialized nursing care. Or a family caregiver simply reaches a point where they need support.
These are moments that no one wants to anticipate—but having a resource before you need one can make all the difference.
That is what we hope BrightStar Care can be for the families in our community.
Throughout the weekend, attendees were also invited to have their blood pressure checked at our booth. It was a simple way for us to support the health and wellness focus of the Expo, and we were grateful to be able to provide this service to so many people throughout the day. For some attendees, it was a quick wellness check during a busy afternoon; for others, it provided an opportunity to pause, pay attention to their numbers, and have a conversation about the importance of staying on top of their health.
A Resource You Hope You Never Need—But Are Grateful to Have

Our team can provide support ranging from personal and companion care to skilled nursing and specialized clinical services. Every situation is different, and our goal is to help families understand their options and find the right level of support when they need it.
We like to think of ourselves as a resource you hope you never need—but one you can feel confident knowing is there if the time comes.
Because when a difficult moment arrives, families shouldn't have to start from scratch trying to figure out where to turn.
