In my 98 year old Grandmother’s time of need for home hospice care, Brightstar provided reliable and compassionate care for her. Many of the caregivers had extensive experience ensuring our trust and confidence in the care provided. Cheryl was always helpful and responsive and caregivers like Loretta F, Ayanna, Aveonta, Cordelia, Vyhvian, Diamond, Sharmaine and Roshinda were always compassionate and attentive with our grandmother. Everyone went above and beyond. Loretta in particular provided valued guidance to us as family members, supported our grandmother in her final hours and we couldn’t have gone through this without her. Thank you to all at Brightstar. We recommend them to those in Chicago looking for specialized care.

I had to switch caregiving agencies in my dad's final days because the other agency was not qualified to provide all levels of comfort and care for my dad while in hospice. BrightStar was amazing and the caregiver/nurses made sure that my dad was as comfortable as possible. I was honored to have the nurse Gladys attend to my dad witness his final moments. I could not have asked for a better woman to be present with him. Gladys is also a minister and also offered me inspiration and comfort and right after he passed I stood beside the bed and Gladys and I prayed for him together. Nurses Jasmine and Nicole were also witnesses to his final hours, the night before and the day before. Everyone deserves a compassionate presence who knows how to provide comfort on all levels, and BrightStar provided.

My father is a Vietnam Veteran with Vascular Dementia. BrightStar is contracted by the VA to offer care to our Veterans in need which is how I met them. I’m so grateful for the care, kindness, attention to details, & partnership I’ve received from BrightStar in caring for my dad. They responded to every need I asked of them for & delivered it in a timely manner with kindness & respect. My father is now in a VA Memory Care Home so our time with BrightStar has ended however I will always be grateful & hold a special place in my heart for their kindness & care for my father!!!
